Here are some pictures of our place! We are loving it and having fun being married! Thank you Staci and Sean for the couches:) we still haven't gotten couch covers but they are very comfy!

1 Month!

Wow, time has flown by. Sunday was our 1 month anniversary of being married! Its been fun to get settled in to our apartment and now get it decorated for Christmas! Auburn is done with the pictures from the actual wedding day so Im going to post a few. Once we get a camera, we will take pictures of our apartment and christmas tree:( We were able to go to the COLDPLAY concert a couple weeks ago with my sister and little brother. It was AWESOME! I have seen them before but it was Chase's first time so it was fun to get to see how excited he was. This last weekend me and 2 of my sisters and sister in law went to the Celine Dion concert! That as well was s0 much fun! I felt like a little girl cheering for Nsync or something. We were trying to be as annoying as possible! haha She is an awesome singer though! Man if I had lungs like hers...Ok the pictures are taking long so I will post them tomorrow...

Elliott Andrew Rasmussen...

This post is a little late, but its all good! Chase's side of the family had the first grandbaby born a week ago today. Brent and Amanda are the lucky parents of the stud muffin. Elliott Andrew Rasmussen was born November 26th 2008 around 5:10 in the morning. He was just too comfortable in Amanda's tummy, she had to have a C-section, the little guy didn't want to come out. Amanda and Elliott are healthy and doing good(Brent is doing good too:) We are so happy for them and Chase is so excited to be a uncle finally, and since I am family now officially, Im happy to be an aunt again for the 7th time! It was really neat to be there at the hospital and see Amanda hold Elliott for the first time. Congrats you guys! He is adorable!!!

My sweet niece Brooklyn...

This video was taken of my niece Brooklyn the night of our reception. My sister and her family live in North Carolina so they were in town for the wedding. Friday night when my 2 nieces were going home with my bro in laws parents, Brooklyn comes up to me to give me a hug and kiss bye and says, "I will see you at grandma and grandpas(my parents)house. I say, "no brooklyn Im not going back to gma and gpa's, I have my own house now. I am going out of town and when I get home, you will already be back home in North Carolina." She was kind of confused and went 0n her way. Well my bro in law realized Br0oklyn was sobbing in the car as they were getting ready to leave with his parents and pulls out his camera and starts recording...listen carefully. It made my heart melt. I love my nieces and nephews so much!

Here are some of our pictures from our Bridal session that we did a few weeks before the wedding. The actual wedding day pictures we haven't gotten back yet but I can't wait to see them. Auburn Clouse Jones did our pictures(engagements, bridals, reception...) she did such a great job! She did exactly what we wanted and was so flexible to work with. If anyone needs a great photographer to capture exactly the kind of pictures you are wanting, go with Auburn! We have grown up in the same ward for years and she has been a good friend in the ward. Thanks Auburn!! We love all our pictures! We are trying to get settled into the apartment and its coming along so cute! Once we are done I will post some pictures. I am loving being married and appreciate the person Chase is. For being a worthy priesthood holder to take me to the temple, for his sincerity, love, sense of humor:), I think I laugh at him too much cause he really thinks he is the funniest person ever! haha Not to mention how handsome he is, I know he will be a great dad to our kids some day and I know he won't give up when trials come our way. I love you Chase, Thanks for letting me be your wife:) Im pretty lucky.

We're Married!

I don't have any pictures to post yet of our wedding weekend but everything was wonderful! It was such a fun week getting ready for everything. We had the wedding dinner at Chase's parents Thursday night . It was so fun! Friday went really smoothe but by the end of the night we were exhausted! The temple was so nice, Chase's grandpa did the sealing and it was really neat. We thought our recpetion was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Our honeymoon was very relaxing and just what we needed before coming back to school/work. It will be a week tomorrow that we got married and I already can't believe it. Thanks to our families for making it the perfect wedding. And thanks to all those that came and supported us! We are getting our apartment all set up and its looking more like our home. Once its all done I will post some pictures cause its going to be cute! We are having so much fun playing house:)

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Things are starting to become more real within the last couple of days!! Up until now, it hasn't really seemed like we are getting married but now that its only a month and 5 days away, its getting exciting!! Not that it wasn't before, but i feel it coming now:) We just got a call saying invitations are done so we have to hurry and finish tying bows on them so we can get them sent out! If you don't think I have your address, please send it to my email (tatumrudd@hotmail.com) We(chase) gets to move into our apartment the end of October. I can't wait to have our own place and not have to drive home to separate places every night, it drives me nuts!! We took our Bridal pictures on Monday and I can't wait to get them back! If you need a great photographer, Auburn Clouse Jones is so good!!! Chase is so busy with school/work right now, and I am busy working 2 jobs! But we can't wait for Nov. 7th! Hope everyone is doing good!!

Happy Birthday Chase!

I know I am a day late. It was Chase's 23 birthday yesterday! I didn't have any time yesterday to post a little Happy Birthday thing for Chase. We were able to spend all day yesterday together. It was so much fun. I woke up and took him breakfast, and then we went to go look at some ideas for Wedding announcements. We had an appointment yesterday with the Wright House to pick stuff out for our reception! That was a lot of fun!!! We went and looked at my wedding band and found the ring he wanted. Again a lot of fun! I can't wait to add the wedding band, its beautiful! Then we went to Gameworks since we were out that direction to blow some time before dinner at his families. Me and Chase are both very competitive so of course we competed in all the games! haha We had dinner at his parents that night. It was a great day! Oh ya, and for his birthday, i got him a black beach cruiser bike!! Its awesome and he is so excited! He had no idea. It was fun to suprise him! Happy Birthday Chase! I love you! Wedding plans are going great! Almost 3 months exactly and we can't wait! Also Happy Birthday to my sister Tobi! It was her birthday as well yesterday!

Shawcroft Cabin 2008

*WARNING*LONG POST!! So this past week we were able to go up to Chase's Nana and Papas cabin in Southern Colorado. Its pretty close to the New Mexico border, but Chase thinks if people hear New Mexico, they are going to think its not beautiful. haha Pictures don't do it justice. Its gorgeous there! We left last Wednesday and got there pretty late that night. Thursday morning consisted of going and looking at all the places we didn't see because of driving in so late(which was everything) Anyways we drove around to different places and decided to go up to the top of what is called "Spruce Hole". The elevation is at 10,500 feet so it was pretty high up there but its a tradition for the Rasmussens to go up there and take pictures. Well we drove my car up to the cabin cause it gets better gas mileage than Chase's car. We made it up to the top of the mountain perfectly fine. Took some amazing pictues. On our way back down, not more than 5 minutes from the very top, Chase hits a huge rock!!! I knew it didn't sound good, but Chase said, oh i think we just bottomed out. As i look in the mirror and see something leaking behind us I tell Chase to stop!! As we get out of the car, and strong stench of oil was all around us!! Sure enough, Chase cracked the OIL PAN in my car! Turned the car off and started climbing down the mountain. I wasn't very happy, and either was Chase. My sister Tobi was invited by Chase's cousin up to the cabin so they were with us as well. I wasn't in a very good mood after that:( After walking about 1 1/2 to 2 hours a car comes driving up the mountain, so we stop them and ask if we can get a ride back to the cabin. Luckily they were very nice people and said on their way back down, they will pick us up. We walked for another 30 min and finally got picked up! To spare you the long details, my car was on blocks the whole time we were at the cabin, luckily a family member is a mechanic so it was fixed and ready to go by yesterday morning for coming home. Chase's papa(who will be doing the sealing for us when we get married) asked me if there are grounds for a divorce, before even being married!!! haha I was cracking up! The family was real worried that I didn't love Chase anymore for destroying my car, but its fixed and all better. Yes I do still love Chase more than ever! So looks like November 7th is still the date!! haha I had the best time being with all of Chase's family and getting to know them better! I can't wait til next year to go again, this time we will be married:) There are many more details about the trip but I am getting tired of typing so thats all you get! Here are some pictures!
